Regardless of the caring for the skin during the day (cleaning, hydration, application of nourishing creams, etc.), there is always a layering of dead skin cells, dirt and bacteria that clog the pores. Soap is not recommended as the raw detergents in most cases are devoid of natural moisturizing oils which may lead to skin dryness, skin irritation and even inflammation. The first and foremost mistake is shaving dry skin. Dry shaving is allowed only if you use an electric shaver. Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, allowing better moisturizers to penetrate into the cells. But abrasive scrubs can seriously impair dry skin. So use scrubs no more than once a week.
