How To Avoid Dry Skin

The skin is one of our most important organs as it protects us from the environment. It shapes our appearance and gives us a sense of touch. When the skin becomes dry, however, you start to feel rough and tight, or you can even feel it crack or cause itching, which threatens its ability to function properly. For the face, no matter how dry the skin is, the gentle cleanse before bedtime is essential. Regardless of the caring for the skin during the day (cleaning, hydration, application of nourishing creams, etc.), there is always a layering of dead skin cells, dirt and bacteria that clog the pores. Needless to remind that it is the problem that most often leads to inflammation. So carefully, without rubbing, wash your face before sleeping. Soap is not recommended as the raw detergents in most cases are devoid of natural moisturizing oils which may lead to skin dryness, skin irritation and even inflammation. Still, if you’re a fan of soaps, there are those with a specially developed formula for such a person. However, always pay attention to how soft and natural are the ingredients of which detergents are built with. In shaving, is it possible to make mistakes? What is so complicated in this tedious procedure that you do not do correctly? Errors in the shaving do exist, and unfortunately, are the main causes of dry skin, rashes, itching and irritation of the skin, but the good news is that you can avoid this a lot easier! The first and foremost mistake is shaving dry skin. Dry shaving is allowed only if you use an electric shaver. In the classical way of shaving, it is necessarily that the skin is wet, in most cases smeared with cream or shaving gel. This greatly reduces the chances of a skin irritation and rash. In case of dry skin consider light cleanser with moisturizers in it. Your skin should feel soft and smooth after cleansing. However if you feel too dry, tight or irritated, try another product. What cleaning cosmetics to avoid? Together with the bar soaps, you need to avoid flavour preparations, the composition of which has chemicals or alcohol. Antibacterial soaps with a strong drying effect are also not preferable. Consult your dermatologist if you can use specific cleaning product before using it. Showers and baths procures offer an additional moisture to the skin, but they can also injure it, depriving it from natural oils. The boiling hot water washes fat faster than hot water. So use hot water to clean the face, but make sure that is must be limited to making a short (no more than five minutes) warm bath or shower a day. Last but not least, beware of the scrub cleansers! Exfoliation removes dead skin cells, allowing better moisturizers to penetrate into the cells. But abrasive scrubs can seriously impair dry skin. So use scrubs no more than once a week. Prefer scrub with synthetic pearls. These particles may be less harmful to the skin.
