Eyeliner Design for Swan Look

The woman’s eyes reveal a lot about her mood, opinion, affection and even her character. This rule applies especially when the eyes are big and well defined with beautiful makeup designs like the following one. Take a look at the steps if you want to achieve the very same look. Here we go:

This makeup design is quite simple, but the good preparation of the eyes is not something to neglect. Prepare the lids as usual with a lid primer, but I recommend you to use a tinted primer, because the lids won’t be covered with opaque eyeshadows, which means that the thin veins and the different color of the lid will be noticeable. The tinted primer has another benefit – it will make the eyeliner pop out with sharper lines and edgy effect.

Then, take the eyeliner. You should use a tool that is comfortable for you. I like to use hard-bristle, pointy brush, because it gives me more control over the lines and I feel more confident while drawing the line with this type of tool. Draw the flick first. Always draw the flick first!

Then, thicken the line and try to fill in the gap between the lashes and the lid. For this, you can use an extra thin and pointy brush. Don’t cover the whole lash line, make the it disappears right before the beginning of the lashes.

Enhance the outer corner of the bottom lash line with the black liner as well.

And now, the detail that will contribute to the swan effect – the white eyeliner on the bottom waterline. First, dry out the area with a cotton swab, then apply the white kohl and finally, apply mascara on the lashes.

Done! Enjoy the look and come back for more great ideas and designs for your look. Have fun!
