Cute Cookie Jars for the Holidays!
Welcome your guests with really cute and tasty cookies in an elegant jar… Or give them away as gifts!
Here’s how:
You’ll need a 38 ounce jar for each mix.
Mint Brownies
1 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup flour
1 cup mint M&Ms
1/2 cup softened butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
Blend together the softened butter and sugar.
Stir in the eggs and vanilla extract.
Now stir in the cocoa powder, salt and flour.
Spread the batter into a greased 8×8 square baking pan.
Sprinkle on the M&Ms.
Bake at 325°F for 35-38 minutes.
Cranberry & Chocolate Cookies
Makes one dozen
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup oats
3/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup raisins
1/2 cup softened butter
1 egg
Blend together the softened butter and sugar.
Stir in the egg.
Now stir in the remaining ingredients so everything is well blended.
Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Drop spoonful’s of cookie dough on the baking sheet.
Bake at 350°F for 15-18 minutes.
