How To Look Good in Pictures

It is not a secret that some people don’t look good in pictures. It is not due to the fact that you are ugly, because you are not! The way you look in pictures depends on the fact that you are not photogenic. But you can beat it if you know how to strike a good pose, how to tilt your hair and in basic, if you know well your body and facial features. For instance, I know that my right face profile makes me look fatter than I really am, because my right cheek is a little bit larger than my left cheek.

If you want to see the difference between your left and right side, you can make the trick that divides your face in two equal halfs. For this trick, you will need a picture editing software, like the Photoshop program, and a portrait picture of you. Draw a straight line right at the center of the nose and copy the left side and turn it over the first one into a mirror way. This is how your face will look if it is symmetrical with the features of the left side. Then, do the very same thing with the right side. Now you can see which one of your profile is more attractive.

And now, let’s continue with the lesson that will teach you how to look good in pictures:

The most important thing is to follow your natural instincts. It is not necessary to put your body into a straight position, this will make you look stiff and strange. Instead, let your body stay naturally, like the S position of the woman in the picture down below.
If you have to squat down, you have to turn a little bit to show the profile of your body and tilt your shoulders a little bit. Again – go for the natural position of your body.
If your hands are crossed, place the one above another, don’t tuck it under the other arm.

Don’t stay into a portrait position when you are making casual photos, tilt your head and smile.
Just let your body be free and it will take the most flattering position.

Enjoy!
